Defying Inequality Cabarat Performance
Tuesday, July 7th, 2009On Monday July 13th, at 7:30 pm, The First National Touring Company of Wicked will host DEFYING INEQUALITY, a special evening of benefit cabaret performances promoting equality and civil rights.
This event will be held at Cherry Lounge & Pit, 411 S. Mill Ave., Tempe and will feature cast members from Wicked as well as special guest performers, this special one-night event will benefit MARRIAGE EQUALITY USA.
The event will feature members of the cast and crew of the touring company including Katie Rose Clarke (Glinda), and Ben Liebert (Bog), as well as Kiki Vermont and others.
Defying Inequality will feature different musical performances that support Wicked’s theme of acceptance and illuminate the musicals message “that people should not be judged on first impressions, and that in these divisive times we must come together to support one another’s rights throughtout the country and around the world.
