Uihlein Hall

An elegant setting for operas, musicals, orchestral concerts, dance programs, theatrical productions, lectures, annual meetings, commencements, or film screenings.   Uihlein Hall, with a seating capacity of 2,305, is the largest of the Marcus Center theaters, and is home to the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the Milwaukee Ballet Company, Florentine Opera Company, the Marcus Center Broadway Series, and the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra. Seating is continental (no center aisle) with wheelchair locations on the orchestra level.

Latecomers

An arrival 45 minutes prior to the start of a performance is recommended. Patrons are admitted into the theater 30 minutes before the start of the performance.

The production team of each Broadway Series show or each performing arts group establishes late seating policies individually. The Marcus Center staff enforces all late seating policies set forth by these entities. Please refer to each performing company’s individual website for further info.

Cameras, Recording Equipment, Cell Phones, And Pagers

Recording devices and cameras are strictly prohibited inside all theaters. Beepers on watches, paging devices and cellular phones must be turned off before the start of a performance.

Food and Drink

All food and drink is prohibited inside Uihlein Hall, with the exception of bottled water sold at the concession stands during intermission. Food and drink is permitted inside Vogel Hall.

Smoking

The Marcus Center is a smoke-free facility.

Emergency Messages

Leave your locations with anyone who may need to page you. Based on your seat locations our ushering staff can get a message to you.

Lost And Found

The Marcus Center is not responsible for articles lost or stolen at the Marcus Center or on The Marcus Center grounds.

Lost items may be reclaimed by calling (414) 273-7121.

All persons regardless of age must have a ticket. Each arts group establishes age limitation policies.

To help ensure the enjoyment of all our patrons, children under four (4) years of age may not generally attend our Broadway productions. Although some of our Broadway productions are suitable for children, parents should contact our box office at (414) 273-7206 to determine the suitability of the show for their children’s attendance.

Beepers on watches, paging devices and cellular phones must be turned off before the start of a performance. During the performance, talking, coughing, rustling of paper, and noise from electronic devices disturbs performers and members of the audience. To ensure guests and performers enjoy shows free of distraction, the Marcus Center reserves the right to ask anyone to leave if his or her behavior is disruptive.
